Resume

Through many years as an educated architect, I have carried out both small and large tasks in different private and public sectors. I have among them worked as an architect, researcher, and manager of research projects and responsible for architectural offices in Afghanistan, Iran and Denmark (from 1981 until now). Moreover I have also been lecturer at universities both in Afghanistan and Iran, and director of regional division of Housing and Urbanism of Afghanistan.

I was born in Kabul Afghanistan, studied there and graduated at the level of BS in architecture in 1980. In 1995 I got my MA in architecture from Iran National University. In 1998-9 I started my Ph. D. programme and finished the educational period at the same university.

As a consequence of conflicts and political changes, my family and I were resettled in Denmark through UNHCR (Nov. 1999). Her in Denmark I got the opportunity to resume my Ph.D. programme at Aalborg University, Department of Architecture & Design (2004-6). Now I am a member of the Association of Academic Architects (AA) and Federation of Danish Architects.
